Hand painted pelmet

We were commissioned to hand paint a pelmet for a children's half tester bed.  The client's brief was to have flowers that scrolled along the pelmet and were interspersed with insects; the colours needed to compliment the fabrics being used in the room.  The design was hand drawn, then traced onto the pelmet and finished using water based paints.

Width of pelmet 2.5 metres.
